Cancellation & Refund Policy
We sincerely hope that it never comes down to this, but just in case it does, URBAN MODARA believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and therefore has a liberal cancellation policy.
We would like you to have complete peace of mind when buying products from urbanmodara.com. You can return all items within 7 days of receipt for a full refund minus any shipping charges incurred of the item purchased.
This excludes jewellery, sunglasses, bags , bodysuits, swimwear, and items purchased on sale or using a promotional discount code.
Items must be returned unwashed, unworn, undamaged and with tags attached.
How do I Return products?
- If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person.
- Please call our customer care at +919820556358 email us at email@example.com mentioning your Order ID. We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you send us the product back.
- Within the first 7 days of receipt we will accept all returns except those deemed to have been damaged by the customers themselves outside of normal everyday use.
- Please do take care that that you pack items securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit and with all original packaging (tags etc.).
- You can return the product by self-shipping it to us on our address given below.
- For all self-shipped products we recommend you use a reliable courier service like FedEx. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to us.
- If your pin code is not covered by our pickup services, you would need to self-ship the return item.
- In case you are self-shipping your returns back to us, please retain your shipping receipt and update customer care on +919820556358 email us the tracking info on firstname.lastname@example.org so as to enable us to track the delivery of your returns to us. We will not be liable for items damaged in transit if self shipped.
- Replacement or exchange of a product can be only availed incase of misfit or defected goods.
- You can send us the product by the reverse shipment arranged by us or self-ship it to us.
- The charges for reverse shipment or self-shipment will be re-imbursed for the first time, if the same product is exchanged again the charges are borne by the customer.
- Once we receive your returned product, the refund is subject to the product having met the requirements of being undamaged which will then be reflected in your account within 14-15 days.
- Refunds will be made in the same form that the payment is received. In case of COD, refund will be through Bank Transfer.
- Shipping charges will not be re-imbursed.
- The courier charges will be re-imbursed along with the product refund only for the first time. If a return is made on the same product again, the courier charges are borne by the customer.
Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following products shall not be eligible for return or replacement, viz:
- Any product that exhibits physical damage to the box or to the product;
- Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product at the time of delivery;
- Any product without a valid, readable, untampered serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number;
- Any product from which the UPC (Universal Product Code) has been removed from its original packaging.
Where do I send my return?
Please make sure that the following address is clearly printed/written on your return parcel with the UrbanModara order #, Please also include the original invoice as proof of purchase with the return.

Do I get charged for returning products?
We arrange one free reverse shipment and do not charge any fees for pickups arranged for, and serviced by us.
If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order.
- For outright cancellations by you:
- If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
- If the cancellation is after your product has shipped:
- If you received the product, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product.
